Strawberry Farm on Maui

Do you know that there’s a farm on Maui that you can “pick your own strawberries”? I love fresh strawberries, and picking it ourselves? can’t get any fresher that that!

Last weekend I had  a “ladies day out” with my friends Dania (@EdibleMagazine) and Mary Jo (@flyawaycafe).  We went to Alii Kula Lavender Farm.  We had a wonderful time there, but I’d save that story for another post.  On our way there, we stopped by the Kula Country Farm to peek at their strawberry farm.  That was fun! I told Dania and Mary Jo that I want to bring my kids there for them to experience picking strawberries.  And so when my darling husband asked me what I would want to do for Mother’s Day, I said I want us as a family to go pick strawberries at the Kula Country Farm!  Now for my husband to go to this farm with us is really an expression of love because he’s not the type of person who’d like to go to a farm.  But yes, we are going!  We are going there today and I am very excited.  To all the Mothers who read A Maui Blog, Happy Mothers Day to you all.  May you have a wonderful wonderful day today filled with love and pure joy.

Below are some photos I took last weekend which are my Weekly Winners for this week.  I’d share more photos after our strawberry picking adventure.  Aloha!

Seeing these photos and thinking about it makes me want sing:

Let me take you down, cause I’m going to Strawberry fields

Where nothing is real, and nothing to get hung about

Strawberry fields,  forever  …
