Yesterday I posted about the storm on Maui. How it was raining cats and dogs, there was zero visibility on the road. It was a very nice change of weather. A lot of us local were thankful for the rain because we needed. However, yesterday I also thought of the tourists and visitors who were expecting sun instead of storm on their vacation (especially the first timers), I felt a little sad for them. But hey, today… Maui is back to it’s sunny bright weather! Yahoo! The photo above is one I took this morning from exactly where I took it yesterday from our lanai. The sun was just coming up when I took it. Have a wonderful day!
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kalani thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. On her blog she’ll ask a simple question for us to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. Then if we would like to participate, we can do the same.
I am participating this week and my question is:
What is your favorite Christmas Carol (or what are your favorites?***) Traditional for me are O Holy Night, Silent Night, and It Came Upon A Midnight Clear. But I also like Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. And …. oh there’s a lot, but I want to hear what’s yours :). If you are on Maui, 95.1 FM is playing Christmas Music all day long, and I love it!
*** After receiving a couple of comments, I remembered that not all celebrate “Christmas” but there are some celebrations they do – so please leave your favorite Holiday song or celebration song. Thank you.
Also, it does not have to be “carols” – any song, or music … aloha!
