In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing heavy or too thought-provoking.

I love personalized gifts and I have my own business. So my mom is getting a personalized clipboard, notecards and keychain. I guess you could say I was addicted to preppy and monogrammed things!

This is my first Mother’s Day, as a mom anyway… so I guess I am kind of excited about it.
Ask mom what she’d like to have. If she hasn’t any suggestions, what does she like? Does she read, do crosswords, garden? A gift that she’ll “use” is good however; I agree with brines, flowers always work.
I know this sounds weird but I don’t want anything for mother’s day. I want my husband to go to the mountains and leave me alone, lol.

I think the most romantic and kindest gift my husband and children could get me would be an irobot so I do not have to vacuum the house myself. It is not going to happen this year but here’s to hoping!
For my mom and MIL, I agree that flowers are a good gift.
a flowering plant, or a gift certificate to spa, for a body massage.

I love receiving a plant or something for my garden. But I also sell great mother’s day gifts if anyone needs ideas! 😉
For me, I would just like a day for myself. Just a little peace and quiet would be nice!
