First Friday in Wailuku Maui
If you are wondering if there is going to be a Wailuku First Friday for the month of January, the answer is “NO”. On January 1st, the Wailuku merchants and friends are taking a break to bring in the new year with their family and friends. Wailuku First Fridays celebrations will resume on February with a party! You can go to Wailuku First Friday Facebook Page to RSVP, or just come. It’s an open party!
What is a Wailuku First Friday? First Fridays in Wailuku is a monthly event at Market Street Wailuku with free entertainment, fine art, food and drink specials, retail promotions, and business and community networking. It’s an “old time kine gathering of friends”. It’s an effort to bring the community together, to preserve a culture, and to give back to the community.
On Friday 2010, Wailuku First Friday will be held on Feb 5 at 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. As usual, there will be street party with music, dancing, sidewalk vendors with handmade treasures, food and fun! The U.S. Air Force Bands will perform at the Wailuku Banyan Tree Park; Native Intelligence will present special performance at the Iao and more to come! See you there!
