AWESOME night. We raised $4,000+ in ticket sales alone. Another $1,000 courtesy @aighawaii. And a $1,000 anonymous donation. Total? $6,000+!
Troy’s blog has the story.
*** I just read Ryan’s blog, and it’s actually $7,000 – check this out!

The Aloha State is proud to be represented in Twestival 2009! Honolulu organizers had done an amazing job organizing this event in just a few weeks. Kudos to everyone involved in making it possible for the Aloha State to be represented on this worldwide event for charity. Here are some of the basic information or details on the Honolulu Twestival:
I was initially going to fly to Oahu to attend this special event. I was ready to buy my plane ticket yesterday when some unexpected events happened and issues came up which unabled me to fly over tomorrow (I’m car-less starting today, hubby had a last minute meeting scheduled that day (told about it yesterday) with same date and time so no one to take care of kids and drive me to the airport, etc.). So in lieu of me flying over, I purchased five (5) tickets to be given away so that five Honolulu residents who would like to go to this event can go. Please leave a comment here if you are interested on the free ticket or DM me at Twitter (@amauiblog). I will need your e-mail address to forward the e-ticket.
