First Friday In Wailuku: Crazy In Love
First Friday Wailuku will continue its monthly event schedule into the new year with free entertainment, fine art, food and drink specials, retail promotions, and business and community networking on Friday, Feb , 2009 beginning at 5:30 p.m. “Crazy in Love” is this months’ theme.
Maui Thing has a great fundraiser event at their store during this First Friday celebration. 10% OF ALL PROFITS THAT NIGHT GO TO THE FIREFIGHTERS FUND. This fund helps families when a firefighter gets ill or injured on the job. (i.e. lung cancer, loss of family member, sickness from asbestic, burns) It helps the firefigthers and their families. They also donate to non-profits. LIVE MUSIC BY FELLOW FIREFIGHTER PITO JAVIER. Each $5 donation helps support local firefighters and their families plus enters them to win other great prizes!
